ART HISTORY
You will study several methods of visual arts, arts in general and architecture. Learning to establish artistic interpretation (aesthetics) to determine the worth of objects, churches etc. You will study major movements, historical periods, specific artists, the patrons of the arts and the effect each art object had upon the society and the world.
Depending upon interest, you can study one major time period or an overview of the complete history of the study of art beginning with pre-historical images up to modern times.
We will look at slides, illustrations, book illustrations and internet. You will read among others, Horst W. Janson´s texts as a basis.
Classes can be done in various languages: English, Spanish, French, German or Italian.
Cost: $12.000 an hour if you are part of a group/ $20.000 an hour individual
HISTORIA DE ARTE
Usted estudiará varios métodos de las artes visuales, arte en general y arquitectura. Aprenderá a establecer interpretaciones artísticas (estéticamente) para determinar el valor de los objetos, iglesias etc. Estudiará los grandes movimientos artísticos, períodos históricos, pintores, escultores, los patrones de las artes, y los efectos que los objetos han tenido sobre la sociedad y el mundo.
